At Interio (Concept: M. Grandits, B. Segschneider) selected work and objects regardless of their denotative or connotative meaning appear alongside each other.
The positioning of each object and piece was in counter response to the standard and usual thought, and (in their minds) over-thought of curators as to how, where and why each piece in an exhibition is displayed. From Luser's cup collection to Grandit’s & Segschneider’s photo albums, displaying personal photographs from the last 5 years, positioned beside Grandits lamps and office furniture, the exhibition was a disordered collection of its artists’ items.
A poster hung as if in a home, decorations taken straight from a living room. The work was not to be presented in an optimal way but instead to evoke feelings of being at home. Easy listening music was played during the show, to create both a visual and aural experience of the arranged chaos.
